Hello!
Ok this is more directed to Dr. Harshaw and Mrs. Carbboneau....I want to know how yall both feel about the diet so far? I was a little concerned that it might not be enough a sufficient amount to keep both of you going considering all the excersie the both of you are doing. So please let us know how its going and what you both think...I know Dr. Harshaw knows WAY more than me about whats right to eat and how much...so let us know! Thanks!

I feel fine. Breakfast was pretty much was what I do some mornings every week (and nearly every Saturday morning), except I always have coffee -- 3 mugs work with some sugar-free Coffeemate in each. (Remember there are really just two non-negotiables: don't take away my coffee, and no pickles!). The other meals seem like they went okay. I'll post a detailed list of what all I had in a few minutes.

When you enter the diet into FitDay, be sure to monitor the percentage of fat, carbs, and protein to be sure it's where you want it to be. Also check the nutrient levels. Vitamin K is the one you don't have to worry about, because it's very difficult to assess.

I also feel fine. I usually skip breakfast so it was a real treat to have cereal & a banana. I forgot about the mid-morning snack so sort of doubled up for the afternoon but still think I stayed within any calorie goals. There seemed to be a lot of food on my supper plate! If I were a better cook, the food would have been tastier but I managed by using pepper and a little lime juice (forgot to buy lemon) as seasoning.
