Hey Everyone!
Since we haven't really done anything lately in this class because of fall break, and we would like to keep an A in this class, Stef and I decided to post on the blog. So here's a little information to brighten up your dreary day:
1. Banging your head off a wall uses 150 calories an hour. (ouch!)
2. In an average lifetime, a person will walk the equivalent of 5 times around the equator.
3. You consume 1/10 of a calorie when you lick a stamp.
4. The left leg of a chicken is more tender the right one. (just in case you diet people wanted to add chicken to the menu)
5. If your wieghing yourself on a scale keep this in mind... One million one dollar bills weighs one ton. (empty your pockets)
6. A jogger's heel strikes the ground 1,500 times per mile. (wear good heel pads!)
7. Stressed is Desserts spelled backwards. (No, that doesn't mean when ur stressed you should eat.)
8. You burn more calories sleeping than you do watching TV.
9. When you yawn your heart rate can increase by 30%.
10. The most push-ups performed in one day is 26,001. (Consider yourselves lucky)
11. There are more nutrients in the corn flake package itself then there are in the actual corn flakes. (We now have your new breakfast diet)
12. Due to gravitational effects you weigh slightly less when the moon is directly overhead.
13. 68% of a twinkie is air. (that's why they're so fluffly)
14. The average chocolate bar contains 8 insect legs. (This is why you should stay away from chocolate)
.... on a side note Alfred Hitchcock doesn't have a bellybutton, and actor Mark Wahlburg has a thrid nipple.
Well we hope this brightens up your day and lets us keep an A in this class.
Hugs & Kisses,
Stef & Renee
