Dr. H - Diet and Workout for 11/3 and 11/4

Both days' diets were as listed. Just be wary of FitDay's lasagna with meat sauce entry because I can't have red meat, and instead use Boca meat substitute. You can't tell the difference when it's cooked in recipes like lasagna, and there is no cholesterol because it's a soy-based product.

Yesterday was Parents Day and that prevented the early morning workout that was planned. I got in a late afternoon workout for 45 minutes and 448 calories on the bike. I crashed pretty hard on the first part of the single track, but nothing was broken or torn, so I kept on going. I think that probably kept me from getting too sore this morning. Yeah, it hurts today, but not bad enough to prevent me from doing anything. I've got a pretty big knot on my left quad, though that is a nice shade of PC blue. The left shoulder aches more than usual.

Some guys from the team came up this afternoon for a training ride in my back yard (Lynch's Woods), and instead of doing a light workout, I put the hammer down with them for 2 hours. Total calories were 1648.

Current weight is 171.0. Let's try really hard to get into the 160s this week!

It's time for Armageddon on CBS: kick-off for the Manning-Brady battle of the best. Let's go Colts!
