Notes:
  • I'm getting some serious fading in the S725X display. This may mean it'll need a battery replacement, or it needs some sort of repair. The bad news is that means it has to be shipped off to the factory to do, so I expect when it goes totally dead, we'll be out of a hrm for however long it takes to get the repair/replacement done. I'll keep you posted.
  • It was too much to do both intervals immediately followed by a calesthenics/weight training workout. We need to re-organize those days. I crashed pretty hard in Springs and was unable to complete some of the workout.
  • Be realistic about the weights we'll be able to do.
  • Your analysis paper will likely lead you to think of altering some of the workouts.
  • Next week's grocery shopping will be done tomorrow. I still have a shelf full of cereal from this week (since I've stuck with oatmeal for the week!), and would like to avoid buying large quantities of foods that will only be used once. At least for a week or two, let's stick with the cereal brands and oatmeal that I just bought. At least until I use up some of this stuff I've already got. Some grocery items might not be available at our grocery stores in rural South Carolina. We'll look -- but we can't get it, we can't get it. We have a local produce stand where I usually pick up bananas and tomatoes, but I'll have a good look there next time I'm in to see what else they typically have.
  • There are sometimes that I've noticed the calories aren't downloaded (showing 0/0) into the software, even though I clearly see the total value on the receiver. I have no idea what is causing that problem, but I will see what I can find out.
  • Please email me your presentations!
  • Let me help you with your next presentation, so that it is in a .pdf format and you can guarantee that it will look just like you expect it to look! You'll be doing a lot of presentations at PC, and I want you guys looking like pros, and not getting any surprises like we had this morning. I can help you with that!
  • Don't forget to watch your email for guidelines for your analysis paper. I'll send those out either later tonight or tomorrow.
  • Next week's diet and exercises are looking good. I like the variety you all have done, and am impressed with your dedication to learning how to plan and execute!
The hrm problems are really frustrating. I hope that I can get it resolved quickly for us!
