The objective today for Mrs. Carbonneau's workout was just to work on her overall endurance. Today she had to do four stadium stairs; this consisted of ten seperate rows of stairs and each row consisted of about twenty stairs. Mrs. Carbonneau's workout altogether lasted for thirty-two minutes; this included a five minute warm-up, twelve minutes were spent on the stairs, and fifteen minutes were spent resting between intervals. She made each rep in about three minutes with a five minute break between each rep to allow her full recovery time. At the end of the workout we took her pulse which was at 126 beats per minute. As I stated in an earlier post her desired heart rate range is between 118.5 and 129 beats per minute, so we were right on track with that.
