Don't forget to download and install OpenOffice (for Windows or Linux) or NeoOffice (for Mac) for use with your analysis papers and presentations.
While you're upgrading your software, please consider adding Firefox as a smarter, more modern, and more secure alternative to Internet Explorer. Firefox is freely available for all systems, and is smart enough to know how to handle OpenOffice documents and presentations.
I'll email the class both files again. I'll be gone for most of the day, and away from the computer.
While you're writing your paper, I recommend saving it as its current file type (until you have completed it). When you're done writing, click on the button that has some red on it labeled "PDF" to export it as a .pdf file. Files that are .pdf are not editable, which means you'll be guaranteed it'll look exactly like you intended. .pdf files are also very portable, and everyone can read them regardless of what software they prefer to use to create it.
