The objective for Mrs. Carbonneau's workout was to introduce her to the long term process of a fitness plan. I think that this was accompished...she wasn't dying, but she was sweating quite a bit after her run! I figured that she was slightly over her comfort level, which is good for a first workout. Renee and I intend to "up" her workout a little bit each week in order to maximize her heart rate, VO2 max, and decrease her BMI, etc. (Renee is working on that information now, and she will post it as soon as she finds out what she can. )
Other than that, I think that this first day went well for Mrs. C.
Dr. Harshaw and Mrs. Carbonneau: add a 5 minute jog and a 5 minute stretch before each workout. I added this on FitDay. I want to make sure we aren't straining any muscles here.
