The Bad News is that the scale died a battery-eating death and is scrap, costing me $49.99 for a replacement. I went for one that monitors both % body fat and % body water in addition to weight in pounds. At least it's not eating batteries and it's able to give repeatable measurements. The old one got to where it would be as much as 3 pounds difference every time you'd step on the thing.
The Good News is that I saw 174.6 this afternoon. That was after the workout, though, and before dinner, but it's still progress. This morning's weight was 176. The % body fat was 19% down from a pre-class 29.4%. This % body fat seems much more sensitive to time-of-day than weight does. It'll be interesting to see how much it fluctuates.
