There are a couple of minor changes that I made to the diet. Somehow I missed the repetition of PBJ sandwiches. Let's limit that to a once-a-week at most kind of thing from here on out. Even PBJ gets old. I'm not sure how I missed that earlier. Instead, I tried something new by Boca that is supposed to be like a chicken patty. It tastes more like ... well, it doesn't really taste much like anything. It's about as bland of a "food-like-substance" as I've ever had. It was worth a try. At least the whole grain bread was tasty.
The workout was shorter, but much more intense as you'll see on the graph. My fork broke a seal somewhere, so it's in kind of a mess right now. I'll go down to the shop on Tuesday to start getting it repaired. In the meantime, I'll be on either the road bike or the 'cross bike.
I saw 176 on the scale today. It's disappointing, but not all together unexpected. It's been a tough week to burn a lot of calories, although there has clearly been progress in some areas. The pushups and sittups are getting easier every session. Not "easy" but "easier". That's a careful choice of words. I hope to have a good day burning some extra calories tomorrow before the family gets here. The battle of the undefeateds (or #81's) starts at 4 tomorrow afternoon. Get your picks in now. I'm cheering for the Cowboys.
