Exercise: first of all, I didn't get out of Academic Affairs Council meeting until 6:30. I had to go back to my office to finish some stuff up and had to break my meeting w/ Travis. (Dr. Harsaw, this one's on me.) But Travis told me what to do and when I got home, I did my workout. Here's what I did:
Pushups: 3x20
Arm Curls: 3x10, 10 pound (#)
Dumbbell press: 3x10, 10# (on incline bench)
Military press: 3x10, 10# (straight or flat bench)
Arm lifts (out to the side): 3x10 5#
Arm Extension (above the head): 2x10 15# & 1x10 20#
Rowing (like starting a lawn mower): 3x10 10# on each side (so a total of 6 times)
Crunches: 3x50
Plank: 30 second
One-arm Plank: 30 seconds on each side
(Have you ever tried to exercise with a little dachshund licking your face? It's not easy! Nor is it easy when that little dog jumps up on your stomach while you're doing the military press! But it can be done!)
Total workout time: 33 minutes
Average HR: 109
Maximum HR: 139
Calories: 331
Diet:
Few changes: Milk w/ cereal was only 1/4 cup; chicken at dinner was 5 oz; potato was a medium; no squash; no grapes
