Sorry, didn't realize that I haven't "blogged" in a few days.
Friday, 10-19-07: all good; no changes; 131 calories on my run
Saturday, 10-20-07: I made tuna salad so created a custom food called "Tuna Salad (Susi's).
I was very proud of myself in my run. I ran for 23 minutes. That took me from my home up to the Smith Admin building. Later when I clocked it, it was 1.5 miles! I have never run that far before! I burned 324 calories. The pace was slower than you'd hoped for (slightly less than 4 mph), no doubt, but I didn't stop at all. I walked back which took about 22 minutes (took a different route). All in all, a great workout.
Sunday, 10-21-07: Since I had made tuna salad on Saturday, I ate that instead of the chicken salad. But I did eat it on a flour tortilla. It was good! I did NOT get my bike ride in. Got ready to start and the chain came off. It took me forever to get it back on. Then I had to go up to Kane's room and help him put a rug down (and sweep--you can't put a rug down on a dirty floor!). It was too late/dark when we got finished. So no exercise for Sunday, I'm sorry to say.
Monday, 10-22-07: You may remember that last week I tried the egg-white omelet and just couldn't handle it. So I made a regular 2-egg omelet. Threw away the egg-white carton...yucky! I had a chance to go home after work so rode my bike back to Springs for the workout. Time on bike (there & back) was 27 minutes. At Springs, did a 30-minute workout (including planks, Edward!). Guess I forgot to stop the watch once I got home. The time of workout, according to the watch, was 2 hours, 34 minutes for a total of 1403 calories!
Tuesday, 10-23-07: I don't usually buy the Kashi cereal. Instead, I eat Total. However, I forgot to eat breakfast this morning (and my stomach growled all day even though I ate lunch!). Everything else is the same. For exercise, I did run for 15 minutes but it was only for a mile and I really had to push myself to complete the 4 laps in 15 minutes. And that was a pretty quick pace for me at 4 mph.
I know that y'all are trying to push me in running but I don't think it's reasonable for me to attempt a 10-min mile (6 mph); maybe if I run every day or every other day, I can get to a 12-min mile (5 mph) but I was pretty proud of my pace today...even if 4 mph isn't even listed in FitDay.
So, now I'm caught up.
