Dr. Harshaw completed a total of 6 stadium stairs.
The first four he did with a minute inbetween each set, but on the last one he did 2 right in a row. After that, he took maybe about 2 minutes before he started his mile run.
I expected the mile to be a cool down run, but Dr. Harshaw wanted to push his time to see how much he has improved. With tired legs, he ran a 6:20 mile - beating his initial time by a couple seconds. This gives us high hopes because when it comes to the final testing - Dr. Harshaw will have fresh legs.. and I really think he can make it under 6 minutes.
The objective was to work different muscles with the stadium stairs, and then see how fit he really is by having a mile run right after. Obviously - his endurance has increased.
Overall, it was a pretty tough workout - but it gives us high hopes for the future.
