Five days to go!
I wasn't sure how to make the cereal work at lunch. The logistics of carting around milk, bowl, cereal, and spoon just weren't happening with the other stuff I have to carry to and from work every day. I went for a chicken sub on whole wheat instead. 6" whole wheat roll, with lettuce, tomato, olives, and one piece of chicken.
My stomach was really upset this afternoon and I was worried I wasn't going to make it for a workout. I got in the workout later than I had hoped, and unfortunately left the hrm at the office, so I don't have calories, but I do have a total time: 23 minutes. The workout was what was on the handout.
The light came in today by FedEx. The gadget guru in me had to check it out. It's insanely bright for such a small light. The battery is only around 300g, and the LEDs are supposed to be pretty much indestructible. There aren't any dark spots like halogens have, but the light is this weird blue-white. I'm going to attempt getting up super early for a ride to try it out in the woods before work. I've got so much grading and writing to do that I don't have much confidence in doing that though, but we'll see. Naturally, I flipped it on while I happened to be looking at it, burning my retinas in the process -- note to self: look away from the light when you turn it on. I bet it was 10 minutes before the yellow glow in the center of my vision faded away.
