Blood Test Results

Here are the blood test results that just got faxed to me. Everything was within a "normal" range with the exception of:
  • Cholesterol, Total: 250 (normal range 100-199)
  • Tryglycerides: 171 (normal range 0-149)
  • HDL Cholesterol: 50 (normal range 40-59)
  • LDL Cholesterol: 166 (normal range 0-99)
  • Total:HDL Ratio: 5.0
  • CHD Risk based on Total:HDL Ratio: Average
My hematocrit level was 46.6%, so I'm just a bit inside the UCI limit of 50% -- and that's without EPO. I had omitted the HDL, ratio and CHD risk earlier, and added those now. I have to admit to being frustrated by these numbers, given what my typical diet is already, and what kind of workouts I usually get in during a week. I'll talk about it with the physician in charge of me during the project next Friday. I've already got a list of questions for him. If there are questions that you all want me to ask, send them on.
