Diet and Workout for 9/8/07

Breakfast
  • oatmeal, instant 1 pkg prepared with 2/3c skim milk
  • 24 ounces coffee
  • 3 servings sugar-free coffee-mate
During Workout
Lunch
  • 2c lettuce
  • 1/2c cherry tomatoes
  • 2 medium mushrooms, raw
  • 2 tbsp ranch dressing
  • turkey wrap made with the following: 5 slices of deli turkey (approx 50 calories), 1 slice muenster cheese, 1 large flour tortilla
  • 16 ounces chocolate milk
Dinner
  • 3 chicken tacos made with chicken breast grilled, cheddar cheese, corn tortilla shells, tomatoes, salsa, fat-free sour cream
  • 1/2 large ear of yellow corn, boiled, no salt added
Workout Details
  • Total Time: 3:15
  • Total Calories: 2615
  • Trained on the mountain bike this morning. The objectives for the workout were to incorporate a couple of efforts with a lot of endurance training (base miles) to burn some fat, and at the same time, get my body used to the pounding that the mountain bike typically has. After being on the road bike for several months, it'll take a few weeks to get used to the roughness of the mountain bike.
