Had a good workout under Edward's watchful eye. He'll tell you what I did (here or on Fitday). But I wanted to add a couple of things.
Pushups: 3x15 was hard and I was barely able to complete them so I've got room to improve but I was glad to have these to do. Please keep them on the workout--just like this until I can do them better.
Situps: 3x20. First 20 I did with the right technique (hands behind my head); got a little sloppy from there but even that was an improvement
Leg Curls: yeah, they were easy. Guess it's time to increase reps or weights.
Crunches: good.
Step-ups: Good; could probably do a bit more (heavier weights--I used 10#--or more reps; not sure which)
Yeah, I'm a glutton for punishment but I want to SEE RESULTS!
I did wear the monitor and it does seem to communicate with the treadmill cause it was tracking my heartrate and I wasn't holding on to the handles. At any rate, my workout--according to the monitor--lasted for 36 minutes.
Average HR: 113
Maximum HR: 150
Calories: 399
Just so you'll know, the watch calculates my max HR at my age, etc., at 179.
