I went on this morning's training ride, but only did about 30 minutes or so with the group, and the rest was just moderate to low-pace stuff for other 2 hours. I keep rewinding a couple of comments the physician told me in my head and it's getting to me. I rode well most of the hammer section. Total time was right at 2.5 hours, mean hr 141, max hr 175, calories 1935. Pre-workout weight 186 (after breakfast and coffee), and post-ride weight was 183. The cooler temperatures make a huge difference.
Trying something different with the post-workout drink: Endurox (10mg cholesterol), yogurt, blueberries, chocolate milk. I don't see many purple smoothies, but this one is definitely purple.
