workout for 9/12

hey guys. just got the update for mrs. c's workout tonight. the objective was to get her used to more long distance runs, so she can improve her time on the mile!

overall, she ran 20 minutes, but she made some stops inbetween. here's the break-up:

  • ran for 10 minutes (3/4 of a mile)
  • walk (1/4 of a mile)
  • run for 5 minutes (1/4 of a mile)
  • walk (1/4 of a mile)
  • ran for 5 minutes (1/4 of a mile)
overall, she ran for 1.25 miles, and walked for .5 of a mile.
(ran for 20 minutes, walked for 8 minutes)

mrs. c - i'm proud of the fact that you ran for a total of 20 minutes. i knew that the longer time would be a struggle. even though you stopped, i'm glad you pushed through and ran for a total of 20 minutes! you're going to improve so much!

the modifications have been made on fitday! i assumed that you did push ups and sit ups for maybe 5 minutes? let me know if that's different.

That would be right...5 minutes for the sit-ups/push-ups. Might have taken a little longer because my being down on the living room floor seemed to be an invitation to my little dachshund Chili to shower me with kisses. I kept having to push him away!!! But I guess we can't count that extra time.
