Travis led today's non-stop one-set-immediately-after-the-other workout in Springs, and I've gotta tell ya, I think it was a really good workout. I was pretty well thrashed at the end of it. I hustled on getting some Finite quizzes finished before heading home, so I could focus on Calc IV over the weekend. The afternoon got away from me and dinner time came along precluding my getting to Columbia to pick up the 29er.
I had a whopping 12 minutes available for lunch before advisees came in. Thankfully they didn't mind my eating while we did advising.
Bummed to see another episode of Chicken Stir Fry. I've just had all that I want -- and then some. Instead we made up this recipe. Yes, we like it a lot -- but please give it a few weeks' rest before it shows up on there again. Otherwise, the meals were unchanged from the handout.
Please, please, please don't just do-your-own-thing when you make preparations for Monday. Plan the way we discussed in class by laying out a calendar and working backwards. You don't have many days left to get results. Get some resources to help with your planning. A good place to start is the handout I sent this afternoon from the American Council of Sports Medicine. Visit the ACSM website at this link. Make the fitness training scientifically sound. Do the same with the diet.
And enough of the PBJ after PBJ after PBJ after Stir Fry after Stir Fry ....
